Russell D. Busa, President

Russ is the founder and hands-on owner of Sterling Homes Development Corporation. Russ literally grew up in the custom home building business. From an early age, he watched his father, Frank Busa, design and build homes throughout Massachusetts. Through the years, Russ frequented job sites and gained hands on experience in all facets of building, from framing to masonry. Russ eventually became a Project Superintendent, managing large scale project schedules, budgets, and sub-contractors.

In 1994, Russ took these years of knowledge and experience in residential new construction to found Sterling Homes. His objective was simple; to strive for excellence not only in quality and detail, but also in professionalism and commitment to the customer. That is why Sterling Homes only employs the best licensed home contractors in the business. Sterling’s core team of seasoned home construction professionals is committed to:

Architectural Design Services

Steve Baczek, Registered Architect 

Steve works with Sterling Homes clients to create thoughtful, functional and attractive designs. Initially trained as a carpenter, he has an extensive knowledge of building technology especially as it relates to residential construction. Steve received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston where he received numerous distinctions including membership into the Tau Alpha Phi National Honor Society for outstanding academic achievement and the coveted Boston Society of Architects Achievement in Architectural Design Award. 

Rick Eifler, Registered Architect

Rick brings over 30 years of residential design experience to the Sterling Homes team. Known as an excellent listener, Rick has broad experience in design and construction. He has worked with over 400 clients in the greater Boston area on projects and homes both large and small. His expertise includes: new home design, renovations and additions, as well as kitchen and bath remodels. Rick holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and a Master of Architecture degree Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Kevin O’Grady, Broker, REALTOR

Kevin O’Grady manages the Premier Communities division of Coldwell Banker, a group specializing in new construction, and active in identifying development opportunities, working with land owners, builders, financial institutions and investors to make a project come together. In partnership with Sterling Homes, Kevin’s mission is to provide his clients with the highest level of customer satisfaction possible by helping them find the land to match their vision. He gets great pleasure working to help people realize The American Dream.
